Put more baffles between the skimmer and the return, or you'll have micro-bubbles all through your display. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

Your skimmer should be as close to your drain lines as possible, I would move it all the way to the right.

I've heard that putting a skimmer before your fuge isn't the best idea, since they need the same things...not sure how true that is. But yeah, definitely get those bubbles away from the returns if possible...If you can't move it, then at least put more baffles in there.

I would move the heater closer to the return too. You want that heated water going to tbe DT not the fuge.

ya i just was looking at the drawing and relized i need a couple more bafels and smoovie im going to move the heater for sure and i figured since the live rock and cheato need the nitrates to grow i would put the skimmer last to finsh off the water cleaning

don't know exactly what type of light you are using... but a cheap fuge light would be Rite-Lite 8 1/2" Clamp Light and a Daylight 65-Watt Replacement R30 CFL Indoor Flood Bulb on the lowes website. you remove the metal reflector from the light. this will allow heat to dissipate more easily and give you a longer bulb life. put the bulb in and total cost is under $20. replacement bulbs are inexpensive. plus cheato and other algae enjoy color temps around 6500k and most normal light bulbs are 6500k or less.
