is this a kind of pod?

they look like the little feather duster or barnicle things that I have all over in my tank. Don't think that they are pods.

Mike a different angle might help, but they actually look like baby snails or white flat worms..Either one would be nothing to worry about. If you look down on them do they have a shell like a snail?? I would say your tank is maturing nicely...

i will look when i get home to see if they have a shell. i ran some over with my magnet and they did not move or fall off.

Thanks for all the help, everyone on this forum is awesome. I have added some new pictures at

Looked thru your photos, things are progressing nicely. Man you need a shop, if I used our dinning furniture like you I would need a new home...Maybe you can host a meeting in the future to showoff all your DIY stuff. Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your tank progress...

They're probably spirorbid worms, the circular tube is the key. They're reef safe filter feeders. Usually they appear early in a tank but die off if there isn't sufficient food in the water column.

Thanks Agu i think you are 100% right. Anyone happen to have a drill a drill bit set and a tapping set and free sometime this weekend :) I really donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t feel like buying it all.

Thanks all
