Is this a Majano Anemone

I'm brand new to saltwater aquarium care. A friend just gave my son a twelve gallon tank with a clownfish. We bought a fire fish 1 month ago and for him and he loves it . We Just walked into check out the fish with my son. My son noticed that this anemone was holding onto our fire fish and it is not moving. Looks like the fish is not alive? Can anemones kill fire fish? Also if this is a Majano Anemone should I remove them? There is probably 30 of them.

These are Palythoa - sometimes called button polyps. More of an easy soft coral than an anemone.

Can be toxic (very!) if their contents get into your bloodstream, but unlikely to kill a fish. Look up Palytoxin.
