Just so ya know. The little guy i found was not "disposed of"

He was just isolated untill ID could be made

he has actually gone back into the reef now that (with all your help) i have educated myself as to what species it is.

You can throw out as many as you can catch, and you'll never be out of amphipods. Still, they are beneficial, I don't see why you'd bother. There is no such thing as too many pods. They limit their own population by food supply.

One of the most mis-IDed critter in our tanks. Don't feel too bad.
