It would be interesting to find out what this is. Its about 3-4 cm long found it living in my SPS Acro

I am not sure what it is but it the apendeges look to be a snapping or pistol shrimp. IMO. Have you seen it eat or are you trying to keep him alive? I have three pistol shrimp I have found they like meat mostly. I saw one the other day killing a ghost shrimp the same size as he was. Actually just heard the popping and could see the ghost kicking while he was being pulled into the burrow. Please let us know what Dr Ron has to say.

How big is it? I would agree with soze though, it looks like a pistol shrimp larva to me too.

Judging by the claws, it looks like a pistol shrimp larva--but it would help to know what size it is.
