Is this a Peacock???

Can someone identify this??? The seller says it's a peacock. Just want to make sure.

im 100% sure. it's a peacock alright. i believe the pale colouring means female but im not completely sure about that aspect.

Its just its color, my O.S looks exactly the same, it actually used to be all red until this molt. the only reason i can think of for the color change is introduction of a blue light. where at the LFS she was kept in the sump with a dull yellow light for a few months.

yup. blue eye stalks, leopard spotting on the carapace*(sp), and damn thats a pretty critter

I got the last one actually. It looks nearly as good as the one in the photo, but the tail is not quite so nicely colored.

Can't beat it for $19. Miguel rocks.

She's a beauty! WOW! Looks sorta like my female (how shocking!), but much larger. heheh

Do you have a skimmer running on there?

Please keep us updated on how the Peacock does in the refugium; I've heard mixed reviews and would LOVE to hear a really good one!
