[welcome]
I'm pretty sure that is a Malu(in sebae family, just not as common as crispa)
It should be in sand bed if it is.
Maybe tell us about tank specs/params, lighting, time running?

THANKS!!! I'll happily move him to the sand bed.. the tanks been running a little over a year, I've added some pix from a ways back when my camera charges i'll add more pix that are up to date. the tank is a 70 high, i do weekly water changes and do my best to keep it as healthy as possible

yeah when i purchased it it didnt seem to happy, it's been eating though and is very sticky to the touch so i will try to work my magic! thanks so much for the replies!

Wait for other opinions before moving, it could be a beaded, and I have no exp w/ those.
Is what's on the glass wall the same nem as first pics you posted?
Looks much whiter.

no no hes a carpet anemone i've had for almost a year now.. it looks white in pix but it really has like a neon green color to it... i'll try to get a better pic

OK, that could confuse some peeps here since you edited that on to first post.
I'm curious why the carpet would be on the glass?
Malu's have ringed tents, and the beaded look pretty similar to me quite often.
Most nems are best ID'd by base/column/foot.
That tank looked fairly fresh for one year running, again, params and such might help if you posted actual numbers.
Quite often we see peeps just say params are fine, only to read SG or other params are way off from nem needs or requirements.
Also if you do try to move that nem, you need to be very careful to not tear foot.

the new set of pix again were six months into the tank.
i'll have new pix up soon i used those old pix to show the size of the tank

that carpet moves WHEREVER HE WANTS!! I have no control on his location lol
