is this a sea star?

While hunting for miniture undesirables, I saw these two little tiny arms waving around. They were so small and so well camo'ed that it is very hard to know how long they'd been in my tank.

I tried to take a photo but they didn't have much out when I finally got the picture so I drew them.

The two arms were in the same hole at first, them they moved to a different set of holes. They moved around and touched to rock a little, mostly it looked like they were testing the water and just kind of wiggling/waving around.

They are smaller at the tips and get bigger (not much) as they go up.

Well, this is what I saw come out of the hole.

Can anyone id this?

they are some type of worm, but without a pic i cant tell you if they are good or bad. sorry,

I see the same things in my tank, and I actually saw 3 arms the other day. I'm pretty sure they are mini brittle stars.

Thanks for the replies. I hope the arms will come out more later. Mini brittle stars sounds about right. The eleven armed brittle star looks so much like the things at least from what I could see only the arms are so petite. Could this be a baby?
