Ive had these forever and theyve never really bothered me. Just curious on what they are?

Neomeris annulata

It's a macro that can sometimes get invasive and will definitely suck up some of your calcium.

I pretty mich run a fish only with bubble tips, not much need for calcium. I used to pluck them off the rocks but noticed when i left them alone i had much less algae (and possibly less dino on sand).

Either way, they pluck off rocks effortlesly, so i guess for my tank there is no harm then and are a great addition to leaving them alone

Yeah, in that case, they are probably a decent way to export some nitrates and (limited) phosphates.
