Is this an Algae?

I am not sure if this is algae for sure or something else. Very soft and some almost appears to put out fine tentacles or at least something that has an appearance similar.

Assuming it's not, but almost resembles Ricordia mushrooms.

Yeah that's exactly what I think it looks like too. Sadly though not an explosion of rics
