Anyone recognize this guy? It can tangled up in some chaeto I brought home from my LFS.

I already answered you on your other thread. I believe it to be a BTA but not sure until I see the mouth and if there are white lines going outward from the mouth. Otherwise it's a Mojano.

Thanks for everyone's help. I decided to get rid of it. Since I am not 100% sure what it is I don't think it's worth putting anything in my tank at risk. I have always wanted to try to keep an anemone but I should probably stick to one that I know what it is for certain.

That would be very unfortunate. If so it would have been the longest living BTA I have ever kept. I hope to try again another one in a few months. I hope that doesnt bad. I have actually only tried one BTA and it did not do well.

You definitely did the right thing. It may be tempting to call it a BTA, but Mojanos can be quite deceiving. For example, this is a mojano:

Better safe than sorry.

No, that is the "Limited Edition Nuclear Green Speckled Bubble Tipped Mojano with pink tips".

Kidding, but that is one of the prettiest pests I have ever seen.

No one heard of quarantine?
What's that?

:deadhorse1::lol:

Cheebs, that's a beautiful pest!!!! A tank of those alone would look pretty cool, as long as it was a small tank that could be drained and cleaned after it's infested.
