Hi all,
Im a long term lurker who has learnt a lot from reading on this forum.
Ive had my 29G tank set up for about 15 months now and overall, its been going well with all the great info.
Only 1 death due to carpet surfing (darn those fish can fit in the smallest holes) because of heavy construction vibration outdoors.
I was recently gifted my first coral, some kind of Zoanthus Polyp which I did a bayers soak. Its now been about a week and the coral is showing good expansion but I just noticed these other "things" which I at first thought was new growth but Im starting to suspect might actually be aptaisia.
Ive now moved the coral to my quarantine tank while I try to identify if it actually is aptaisia.
Any one care to confirm if Im correct on my identification?
Also, could anyone identify what kind of polyp I actually have?
Thanks for your help and long live this great hobby.
