Is this bad?

Hi, I have had a reef tank running for 7 months and have 12 corals established. I noticed something growing out of the 3 in sandbed up the side of the wall. The cleaning crew leave it alone. It is translucent and thin, but not slimy like cyanobacteria. So far it hasn't bothered anything so I left it. Should I scrape it off and get rid of it? Should I scrape it and put it in my refugium? Or throw it in the woods? Can't seem to id it. Here's a pic:
Thanks.

It is jelly-like

Hey thanks, it is jelly-like and holds form and comes off in pieces. Slime seems to be a gooey mess when I take it out. It does have tiny holes and bits of sand in it. Here's a side view. Thanks again.
