well about 3-4months ago i picked up a small RBTA... like 4-5" across..... now its the size of a dinner plate...thing is absolutely huge. i been hoping it will split soon but it still hasnt....

so is it wrong to try to make it split? and if not, is the best way to point a powerhead at it? or any suggstions?

pointing a PH at it will make it mOVE, not spilt, which is probably not a good thing. I think that other people usually try to over feed them...

I have heard of people moving it into another tank, give them some stress and move it back to the original tank, and it will split. This is a theory, do at your own risk.

with mushrooms you can break the rock so that some of it is hanging down and gravity will make it split... i dont know if this would work for an RBTA but i don't think it would hurt to try.... but it might just let go of the rock

ahhh i think it would just let go of the rock...i think the overfeeding is the best bet probably...but i think this could backfire and get even bigger lol...

the rock its attached to is about 40lbs of rock so im not sure breaking it be a good idea

everything i have heard about anemones splitting says, make sure they are in lap of luxury water conditions, and feed at least 2 times a week. and that they should start splitting and splitting
