People will say that because he is not a "normal colored Clownfish" he would be considered deformed. I have only Non-Standard clowns. One of my fancy whites has that same bump to the top of his head/back, I personally havent seen any problems and im seeing A LOT more of the non-standard clowns with this hump. Beyond that i dont see anything wrong...

Agree with reefvette the fish looks to be short bodied, a deformity that occurs in line breeding. It is often seen in freshwater fish that have been line bred. Just google some images of short body betta, flowerhorn, and rams to name a few. Too bad... the fish has a nice pattern and color.

I hate to say anything bad about Kris, but as he's not the breeder; as Phil said, the fish is deformed. That is what's commonly referred to as "pinched head", very common deformity in inbred fish. Breeders used to cull those fish, but since people will pay top dollar for unique/weird patterns, they are becoming more and more common in the trade. Pair that with the influx of at home breeders and we get more inbred fish as many people buy their pairs from the same breeder's broodstock. To counter this, none of my brood stock are from the same breeder or pairs.

Kris is a good guy. i think the breeder should have kept that one. i would agree with westo and with my pairs i mix them up if i get a pair from the same stock.
