Hi can you advise if this is DI? or will it help reducing the TDS before a DI?

It is a DI resin, and will bind only positively charged ions. If you want to deionize, need to use an anion exchanging resin as well, to bind the negatively charged ions.

Using this one alone in front of a normal DI won't extend the life of a normal mix bed resin, because you'll run out of the anion exchanger first.
