Hi all,

My setup goes like this: tank and sump in the house (living room) and mixing station and gear in the garage. The mixing station and tank share a wall. I'm running a carbon/gfo reactor on the wall in the garage. I'm wondering if I can T off the reactor return to make a spigot to draw water for testing. Will I get accurate results straight out of the reactor?

Also, I'm wondering if I could make a chamber for additives. Something I could open, put whatever into, close up and open a valve and have it sent into the system.

Thanks for the thoughts.

No you will not get accurate results right out of the reactor. The only place you get results that are meaningful are from the DT itself, and generally mid to lower water column.

Why go to the trouble of building another gadget, when you can add your additives to the return section, and achieve the same results.
