I've had an issue with fish fights lately. This is my latest fight loser. Don't worry all fish have been separated and most were sold but this guy isn't able to be sold or traded currently so he's in a qt tank. He got into a fight with a Niger trigger and got pretty beat up. He then got chased into the overflow where he started thrashing around. I believe the eye happened in the thrashing part. But a day after I got him out of the overflow the eye swelled up huge. But all he wanted to do was hide so I added a rock for him to hide under and I think he scraped the eye on the rock. Not sure. But looks like the swelling has come down quite a bit. But obviously I have a new issue coming up. I've been dosing with melafix for about a week now. I've also removed the rocks. He is now active and swimming about the tank but still not eating. Is this a lost cause? It's a cause I'm going to make one way or the other. Just curious.
