I think the poster means get cyanoacrylate at the cheapest price you can find... I get mine at Dollarama for $1 a tube, it is 100% cyanoacrylate gel, no need to pay $4 or $5 a tube for the exact same substance under a "name" brand. Adds up quickly if you are gluing a lot of frags.
This quote upset me more. Cyanoacrylate is cyanoacrylate whether it is bsi or the regular superglue gel. The best and ultimate advise is to buy it where it is cheapest regardless of how much possession you own. Some of us use epoxy putty with super glue to bond corals so it doesn't matter with the brand of glue. It is cyanoacrylate. Once the coral encrust on the rock it would not matter what glue was used.
I have used at least 6 different "brands" of superglue gel. They are different in consistency and effectiveness. Although they all list Cyanoacrylate as an active ingredient the ratio of that ingredient to fillers and to the ingredients that establish the "gel" capacity are way different between brands. I like the "locktight" brand best. The cheap dollar store stuff barely works at all and i wont use it for frags. It does work well to glue my frag plugs to their racks so my angels dont steal them.
