Is this guy a goner?

I am moving tank and he was stuck to the side of a rock. There was no way to get him unattached. Should i just move the rock to the new tank anyway. Will he heal?

I think its a leather. Tall Celery stalk looking thing. It stood about a foot tall. didn't know it was attached to the side of another rock though grrr...

Ack. I would cut the damage tissue. Maybe someone with more experience fragging will chime in, but I've lost a few leathers with that look because I did nothing. In retrospect, I wish I had chopped off the healthy tissue before things got worse.

I've torn leathers accidentally that were attached to rock, and they recovered fine. I would not be worried about it, if it was healthy it should do ok.

ha ha...yeah, probably the worse thing thats gonna happen is you end up with two leathers
