is this guy safe?

got a buddy who has 100's of these in his tank breeding like crazy he says. are they safe to add to my tank for a CUC.

Forgot to add he is about 1/4 in across.

It's a keyhole limpet. That particular one is probably one of the Diodora species from the Indo-Pacific. It will graze whatever it encounters off your rocks and glass, and may also eat sponge.
