Is this habitat OK?

I have a 30 gallon acrylic that I would like to use for an Octopus home.

30 gallon
4" DSB
20# Live Rock
Macro Algae

Xenia
Polyps
Shrooms

Lots of pods

10 Gallon Sump/Refuge
5# LR Rubble
Macro Algae

Tank has been established for 7 months.
Only inhabitants are 3 Green Chromis, will move them, and 2 camel shrimp, may leave them for snack.

Let me qualify my response by saying I'm not an expert in this area, but this is what I have learned:

First, people will tell you that you can't keep corals and the octo happy at the same time. Corals want light, the octo doesn't, and thus, you need to satisfy one or the other. Personally, I got rid of my corals, and I recently found one mushroom and one piece of xenia still in my tank, doing just fine with only 30 watts of light. The octo is happy (I think) and for some reason the coral won't die. Go figure.

Otherwise I'd say go for it! (Again, I'm not an expert, you may want to wait for other opinions.)
 
From what I've heard, tanksize would be fine. Another issue between corals and octos can be temp, especially if a bimac is what you plan to get. Bimacs prefer water closer to 70 degrees whereas your corals will prefer much warmer water.
