Yea i just didnt have thr money.. i read it comes eith 4 tests then more then tests are alot of money as well.
Anyway. Copper is at 0 now i put in cuprizorb. 2 filter socks of carbon and put carbon in my internal filter sponges lol. Went crazy on carbon to remove it. Gonna leave it all in here for awhile.
My foxface is fine. Maybe he was playing dead ? Ive never seen him in the sand before like that... i put him back in thr maintank after being overnigjt in my little 5g tank.
Today is day 6 officially for hypo well 7 i guess. And all my fish are looking really really good. The naso tang wounds from the parasites are all healed and he isnt covered anymore.
My yellow tang is clear as well. And they are all eating again. And so is my powder brown tang. My other tank with the angel is doing good too i see no visible spots anymore and hes eating good.
Since i see no visible spots i assume this is when i start the clock for hypo officually right ? How long do i keep them in this ? I want to do the maximum amount of time. Ive learned my lesson in being impatient. So if 30 is max ill wait 30 days but if 8 weeks is max ill wait 8 weeks.
Do hypo.....always for Ick....easiest on fish......kills parasite permanently.
Velvet is a fast killer, usually not beyond 4 days.....so Ick us what your fish has.
Tellow tang went south.... the copper affected him too and ammonia started showing up... i put him in the 5 gallon tank... to recover away from ammonia... hope he comes back and starts esting agsin.. this yellow tang is veey special... hes such a trooper man..
Wish him luck for me... he swims... but he loses his balence a little in flow... his breathjng is getting better in the 5g but he hasnt eaten yet.
Ive had cuprisorb and tons of carbon in the tank for 2 days and i did two 50% water changes... So im pretty sure the copper is gone.. i dont see it on the test kit but i dunno cuprisorb never chsnged colors.. so i dunno if its even working lol.
Funny tjing about moving my tank from the 55g hex to this 135 and hypo is like all my algae is dead on my rocks lol.. no more hair algae hah...
