Is this Ich? please help me ID

I noticed two small white spots on my clown this evening (he was fine in the morning)... one spot is on its soft dorsal fin and the other one on the caudal fin.
I was thinking it could be Ich but I don't want to jump on treatment and QT before someone with more experience can tell me for sure...

I also want to add that I have lots of hydroids lately in my tank and I thought it could be two hydroids stuck on him?
If it's Ich I was preparing myself to do what is mentioned here:

Although those are old posts they look great but if something changed along the years and there is a better cure in case I have to deal with Ich, please let me know.

God bless your heart! I was already preparing the emergency QT tank... I'm glad to hear I don't have to.

With diagnosing clearly visible white spots as Ich I would always wait to see how long the spots stay.

You will often see a spot here and there on a fish - most of the time those are air bubbles, dirt, sand and the like. In those cases you will see them at one point in time and they are gone from a few minutes to a few hours later.

If you still see them the next day I would be alarmed and take a closer look.
If they stay for 2 to 4 days and then disappear It likely is Ich.
Still, even then I would wait with starting to pull all the fish out and put them through treatment.
Only if they return a few days later in larger numbers I would start to prepare action.

In my beginner days I killed a lot of healthy fish by treating them for diseases they didn't have.

Thanks a lot everyone, I noticed sometimes when I blast the live rock with the turkey baster the animals in the tank get little debris attached to them but they fall of in a few minutes...
