I have 2 MH bulbs. 250W each. 14,000K.
My tank is 70 cm high. SPS will be set on all level (even near bottom).

Is this light settings suitable for SPS only tank ?

You'll be fine. Any 250w bulb is enough for SPS. Keep in mind that you need everything else stable for keeping SPS. Lighting is just one piece of the puzzle.

Actually, I would like to switch from 14,000K to 20,000K.
I understand (correct me if I am wrong) that in 20,000K algea will not bloom as in 10,000K-14,000K.

Anyway,
Alk level - 9.8 dkh (trying to get it low to 9.0)
Ca level - 420
Mag level - 1380
NO3 level - 2 PPM
PO4 level - 0.02-0.04PPM
Stream - 2 Vortech MP40 - great water stream
Temp - 25.5 c
Salinity - 1.025

Algae shouldn't be blooming under a 10-14K. That would indicate a water quality issue. Try lowering your nitrate and phosphate.

i used a 150w ushio 20k bulb on a 20 inch tank with less than an inch sand bed. this frag was completely brown so i brushed it aside and left it there on the bottom left side at the front of the tank and i just discovered this after scraping my algae. i dont remmember ever buying this. point? yes, your lighting is way sufficient for sps on the bottom
