Is this lighting good for Acropora Corals...?

You might keep some Acropora alive, I bet their coloration and growth is going to suck though. If you want LEDs you need to drop some cash to get something decent.

If you are wanting to stay in the $200-300 range for lighting, go with T-5 or halides for now.

how big will your display be?

Just looking at the q&a section on the link you posted, the seller says that light is not sufficient for clams, and that it can't necessarily grow all anemones or stony corals. I wouldn't waste my money on a light like this unless your tank is very shallow, like less than 12 inches. Even then, a better light is more versatile and could be used on future/upgrade tanks.

Well, that's the problem...

My tank has a matching canopy (to the stand) on it and I want to keep the canopy on it...

So, isn't my only choice, as far as heat and a canopy - LED?

The display is 60" L x 18" W x 26" High

No. T-5's are pretty low profile, heat can be dealt with via muffin fans.

No that's not going work long term.
Get a used Radion g1 $275-250 and upgrade later to a g3 pro for about $300. Otherwise if electricity is cheap get MH or T5.

LMAO...

Well, not sure a hard-on, lol...

But, they are what really got me interested in corals...

I have been doing saltwater for years - fish only with live rock.

But there is just something about Acro corals...

I find polys to be the next beautiful... and those need considerably less light, water movement, etc...

Not sure some of my Angelfish would get along with the Arco corals anyway...

With the links you provided, are you stuck on marineland? For what it's worth, I wouldn't look into anything besides a nice T5 setup. Especially ATI. It's proven, low wattage, customizable, and low heat.

Yes...

My tank is a Marineland 120 tank - 60" long...

No one but Marineland sells 60" lighting.
