Is this mounted correctly?

I got this frag a few a month or two ago, it looks like it trying to curve. Is this mounted the right way? Or is this a type of coral that grows out and not up?

They encrust usually first a base and then start growing upright. Depending on flow and light, the growth initially might look a little odd. Your's should be fine.

So its not a table coral?

Im tyring to find the guy I bought it from without success
