If this is normal awesome but this is my first tank and always thought Clowns were just slow little bobble along things.
They did this last night when I turned off the tank light for the first time. Except even faster and more erratic. It's fun to watch while their doing it and I'm glad they are moving out of their little corner they stay in since coming in to the tank. But I worry about them injuring themselves or jumping out of the tank. This is their 2nd day in the tank and they only really kept to the far right wall down in the front corner, under the power head along the wall, or behind the heater. Normally they also are within a few inches of each other never more then 6 inches apart unless doing this.
I have the 1mm pellet recommended by the LFS New Life Spectrum Thera +A +Garlic. They can't eat them normally because their mouths are too small for the pellets. So I crush 5 between 2 spoons and dump the dust in. They run around and peck up all the little particles so they are both eating. There was a strange vertical swimming behavior the first night and then a bit the next day. LFS said watch for heavy breathing which I'm not seeing.
Really hoping this is all normal and if so these are fun little critters.
