I added this clown goby recently and it has stuck to the side of the glass all over the tank since day one. it has never went into the rocks or on any coral like i normally see them doing in photos..
ps- the white spot in the first pic is the glass not a spot on the goby itself.
Had to put mine in the sump, it wanted to host my acans and kept nipping at it when open, when it started receeding because the goby wasn't letting it eat I scooped it. He now has run of my 150gal sump
They're shy at first , they're probably scouting a good place to hang out. I had one that lived behind the heater on a suction cup for 2 months before he got comfortable and moved to a montipora.
