Is this normal for a firefish? help

I just added a firefish to my tank and he burried himself in the sand under a big rock.

Will he beable to get out on his own? I can't see him at all.

He should be fine. Mine go under the rocks all the time when the lights go out.

Mine hides in the rocks often, but never seen him go in the sand. Sounds like a Goby instead.
