Hey sorry I'm still new to the nem game and I've recently gotten a Green LTA, It's been in the tank for a little under a week now and hasn't yet setled in I don't think. This morning I woke up and he looked like this. Is this normal or should I be extremely concerened?

Is that the foot? If it is that might be a problem.......do you have a QT? If so I would put him in there and try and see if you can nurse it back.

No that is for sure the mouth hit foot is a big pink stalk and it looks healthy as ever no abrasians or scrapes or anything.

I haven't fed him anything but a small amount of brine he caught from feeding my clowns. I messaged the owner of my LFS that sold it to me and he informed me that he was 99% sure it's relieving itself of waste. lol

Did the LFS feed is something rather large? If they did, that might be it. If they didn't it might be in trouble.

What size tank?
What lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your water parameters -- with numbers please.
What flow?

29 Gallon Biocube with stock HQI lighting and tank has been running for about 8-9 months with well established water.
Salinaty - 1.026
PH - 8.0
Ammonia - 0ppm
Nitrate - 0ppm
Currently has the stock pump I beleive about 300gph running through a hydor water deflector and a Biocube 250gph powerhead.
As far as I know it had been fed some krill while it was there.

I have one in a 29 BC also and have never had anything like that come out of it. Could b waste but not sure. If u or lfs have not fed it anything large, I might b slightly concerned. The current in tank has not pushed waste off the lta? I feed large pieces of peeled shrimp without ever getting anything that nasty.

Nem is fully expanded today, however in a new spot, and left behind about a golfball size chunk of waste... gross

For that size of a waste ball they had to have fed it more then just krill. I hope that you removed the waste ball, with a small tank it can/will effect the water quality. And keep in mind that that anemone (( assuming that it thrives and not just survives )) will outgrow that tank.

I've never seen a ball of waste that huge on a LTA. I've never even seen that feeding them krill. Looks to me like you are feeding it Taco bell.

I've already done a water change and gotten rid of mass. I feel as if it is already to big for the tank to be honest and really don't feel I should keep it for much longer. As I said I just got it though so I'd like to let it settle in a little bit before stressing it out and moving it again I really would hate for anything to happen.
