Is this normal??

I just set my tank up with out the sump a month ago and the water was crystal clear! When I introduced the sump yesterday the water in my tank is now a little smokey. It is a white smokey look. Is this normal or should I worry about it. I am using RO/DI water. I did notice that my SG was a bit higher than the DT. My SG is now at 1.029. I am in the process of fixing the SG problem. All that is in my tank is LR.

The cloudiness is not unusual, give it a couple of days and it will clear up. Use a filter sock in the drain. Before you correct the salinity, make sure it is accurately measured.

So this is what my tank looks like. How long do you think it will take to clear up?

couple of days is likely all it will take. Occasionally particulates are small enough where it takes a bit longer. No worries though. I am a bit confused though... are you saying the sg of the sump is different than the dt, yet it is plumbed and running? Make sure you are using a refractometer as the hydrometers are notorious for a large margin of error.
