is this normal

I have a rose tip anemone. In the evening I noticed he shrunk down. My others do this when the expel their poop, so I wasn't worried until I seen my clown fish and my sail fin eating it. Is this normal? I WATCHED THEM FOR A FEW MIN. TO B SURE .
