I have a 400 w 20k on 65 dt, I just tried the sump light which is a 26 w 6500k with the mh it opened the color of the dt nice, Is it going to be bad to run that light too?

bad? no... odd that a 6500k 26w would improve the appearance of a DT with a 20k 400w halide on it though. Im suprised you can even see the difference, let alone that the difference would be positive.

might try a 14k bulb next time if you like the look though.

Oh, yes a fresh 400w 20k and its so bright, that little 6.5k did open a real nice color, surprised, Now is that going to cause a algae problem, Oh and I also have a 14k this 20k and a little touch of 6.5 k wow
