Is this okay to do?

How often would water changes be necessary for a sps only tank like this...

Total volume: 18 gallons
Skimmer: Tunze 9002
Dosing: calc, alk, mg
ATO: Tunze osmolator
Stocking: no fish (may be lightly stocked later on)
Feeding: just supplements and maybe some coral frenzy or something similar later on.

*I ask this because I will be away for a good 3-4 weeks without a tank sitter. I want to get away with just having the ATO take care of evaporation, dosing will keep calcium and such levels in place, and maybe using a dosing method for supplements and feeding*

You should be ok until your ATO or dosing pumps go crazy (happens sometimes). Better if someone could take a look once in a while once you are away.

I assume you're asking if you can go a month between water changes?
If so I would say yes no problem.

Are you are auto dosing already for Alk and Ca or planning to? Not sure what your system demand is..? Are you currently only using water changes to keep up with your Alk and Ca demand?

Either way, going 3-4 weeks without even checking on your tank, is a long time and plenty can go wrong IME. Your are a lot braver than I.
Everything always works fine as long as you're home.

I wish you the best of luck.
You never know, you might come back to see your tank look the best it's ever been.

I'm just doing water changes but will soon purchase a profilux dosing system to dose 2-part since more sps colonies will be added to the tank soon (I'll probably have in total four or five 4-5" colonies).

I'd get some kind of module which will connect your tank to the internet. Most likely a salinity and a pH probe. The salinity will tell you if your ATO overdosed water, the pH will tell you if you have a pH/Alkalinity issue. I'd be mostly worried about say a tank crack. Now you have a bunch of water on the floor creating mold for a long time. Although personally, I'd just not set it up, and wait until you're in a stable position.
