nooooo

My guess would be that the scissor tail would turn up missing in about...a week, and the maroon and coral beauty would duke it out to the death, with the maroon more than likely coming out on top. Those guys are mean little b-tards.

Not to meantion a 29 is the smallest tank a maroon can fit in. And same with the CB. I declare a fight would happen :)

In a 70gal, they have enough room to set up territories far away from each other and basically never see each other. In a 29, they don't have that luxury. I would say to leave one in your 70, preferably the maroon, and get another fish like a percula or ocellaris clown to go in the 29. I have an ocellaris and a lemonpeel in my 29 and they get along just fine.

the lemonpeels are about the size of coral beauties...maybe a bit bigger. I've seen them at my lfs for 30 i think.

But up untill about 3 weeks ago i had 2 ocelaris clowns and a CB in my 29. One clown jumped so we took the other back (wanted to get something different anyways and just used that as an excuse. Oh, that reminds me...i got LFS store credit that i forgot about!)

But anyways, it was perfectly fine with those 2 ocellaris clowns (the regular orange ones) but just 2 and a half days ago, i added the CB to my 40 which now has the CB, 2 black ocellaris clowns, a bicolor blenny, and a scooter dragonett. Now when i added the cb it was a jerk for some reason with these clowns and the clowns and cb now have ripped fins...but havent fought for about a day and a half at all now. So maybe they just needed to settle who's boss (which is my female clown :( )

My point...I wouldnt call the CB 100% safe even with ocellaris. While there will more than likely not be any results like you may find with the maroon (which would prolly be death), those ocellaris clowns are jerks. They tore up the angel which is bigger than them more than they got bit.

ya still too big imo. The only clowns that would really work are ocellaris and true percs. They normally only get 3 inches tops. Most of the others are about double that. And i've seen bigger.

My lemonpeel is about 3-1/2in long, but I don't have any pics. He is beautiful though and so fat. I paid $40 i think. I have had him for a while and don't remember.
