I'm trying to achieve aprox 500-600GPH of flow through my sump on my 65 gallon. This is the system I've come up with...
Glass-holes 1500GPH overflow kit. It has dual 1.5" fittings but they seem overkill so I was planning to reduce that to dual 3/4" lines. ( I like the idea of dual lines just in case one clogs )
For the return pump I'm going to use a mag drive 9.5 (single 3/4" line with 5 feet of head) Using the head loss calculator the pump comes out to 595 GPH. The line will have a ball valve on a T-fitting feeding back to the sump if I need to dial back the pump any.
Anyone see a problem with this system?
