I have a 130 gallon FOWLR with total volume about 160 gallon. A local friend has broke down his reef and is selling this UV sterilizer with wiper for $150 with a mag 3 pump included.

I have never owned a UV before and trying to match the flow rates and size of the system is extremely confusing. My ultimate goal would be to kill parasites and help clear the water in the system. From what I'm reading UV can go wrong and kill all the bacteria.
Is this an appropriately sized unit for my tank or too big?
