Is this QT setup ok?

I've just purchased my first two corals, a candycane and cauliflower. Can someone look at this setup and tell me if it's acceptable? One concern I have is that they might be too close together, and could harm each other? Another is that the light is only 12W LED. If I keep that close to the waterline, is that going to be sufficient?

Setup:

Dip: Bayer advanced x 5 min 4 oz tank water with 10ml Bayer Advanced Complete ==>

10G QT tank
ABI 12W Tuna Blue LED (Par 38) 8" above waterline
HOB filter
Nano Korallia powehead 240GPH
50W heater

I was unable to glue the cauliflower's coraline base to the larger piece that I had intended to glue it to with cyanoacrylate. Is there some trick to this? I applied the quick cure gel, held it in place for 30 sec, and it just fell apart. Not wanting to stress things any more than I already had, I covered the plug with superglue gel, dabbed it dry, and set it on the grate.

I'm basically looking for some idea of whether or not I need to change anything. The cauliflower definitely does not look amused with the situation.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
