Municipal. I also already have a home filtration system but i know I need a RODI for the aquarium. A lot of the impurities and chlorine are already filtered out.

I would choose a system that has filters in this order 1 sediment 2 catalytic carbon 3 1 micron carbon block 4 75 gpd membrane 5 color change di resin

Call spectrapure. They are awesome to deal with. I have a 5 stage then added a silica buster two stage. Couldn't be happier for the past 3 years using them.
