Is this scoly still a safe buy ??

I stopped by the LFS today and this scoly caught my eye. However it has a little bit of tissue recession going on.

Is it safe to assume that with some steady feeding ,it could heal back up fine if I bought it ??

Heres a picture of it(the recession is in the bottom right). I didn't think to take a closeup of the area of worry at the time.

worth a try. mix up some good food daily for it. use oyster feast its what saved mine from much worse of tissue recession and fish abuse

Try to place it in low flow area until it attached to the skeleton. It's not look that bad in my opinion.

is good if you can get it cheap and cut off the bare piece cause if algea takes hold there it done for.if you have a good aged tank you wont need to cut

Just give it a dip in CoralRx and target feed it with pumps off and covered (if you have fish). It's in good shape so it should do fine if everything else in your tank is good.

I see green algea on the spot allready get a soft toothbrush clean the green off. It will kill the coral so be carefully it doesn't come back if you are going to dip it brush it first.I personally would cut offthe exposed skelaton.gl
