Is this snail reef safe or not

I was told that these are reef safe by the LFS, but now im not so sure. can anyone help me out with this ? it was labeled as a ninja star snail. they are very unique looking. But i don't care to add something that is going to snack on my corals.

Pic isn't loading o wait I see in your gallery. That looks like a Astraea phoebia useful in reef aquarium

Ninja Star Shell, eh.... I look forward to the day when they turn taxonomy over to the marketing people, they come up with some doozies. As OCD says, it's a good guy, and actually a great specimen of Astralium phoebium (Astraea phoebia in a lot of sources). The most often-used name is Long-Spined Star Shell, if you want to avoid the latin. It's an algae eater.
