This may not be relevant but I have found that corals are less likely to suffer a parasitic infestation of any kind if an acro crab is present and living within the coral colony.
Has anybody else had experience of this?
Has anybody had an infestation of RB's on a coral that had acro crabs resident?
That's interesting because I never have problems when I have hosted acro crabs. I don't know what type of crabs I have but maybe some species are more effective than others. Probably worth investigating as these RB's must have a natural predator.

You would think... I recently added an acro colony w/ a lil acro crab inside and my 6line has been constantly swimming around and around the colony trying to get at the acro crab. Grrr, he never touched my RBs or flatworms so the 6line is finding a new home soon when I do the big tank switch. I had to use interceptor on the RBs and a mandarin on the flatworms. Useless six line... he didn't even touch the pyramidellid snails that one of my clams had and that was the biggest reason I had him in my tank. Grrr... I'm sure they're not all this useless but this one goes to show there's no guarantee.
