i have a 2.5 inch GS maroon clown, which has been in my 180 g fowlr for 1 years(it just doubled in size in between)..i just wanted to experiment and introduced a 1 inch plain maroon in that tank...not surprisingly GS chased the small one when introduced...but after 24 hours,i saw it not heading towards the
small one even whenever the small poking out in open from hideout...but chased once it came near him/her...after 3 days, yesterday i saw the small one is very close to the big and even mildly headbutting it..and the big surprise was the bigger one was withdrawing...few hours ago i saw the small one came very close to the bigger's den and they are occasionally floating side by side...
should i consider :
1)the big gsm has become female?
2)it has accepted the small male as partner?
3)a mating in near future is very much possibility?
accordingly i want to shift them in a 15G tank, only inhibiting by the pair...
will it be sufficient for them for breeding...?
