Is this too much to pay?

I was recently told a store in my area has $10 a head for hammers and frogspawns.
Is that a good price?

If they are nice colors (purple / green) I would pay that. My philosophy is if I like it and can afford it then it is a good deal!

I second that. As with anything you can probably get them much cheaper from a local reefer, though.

Thats not a bad price, Ive paid that for purple tips and green tip frogspawn from local reefers.

Yeah that sounds good. I wish the local reefers around here were fragging out frogspawn of hammer corals. I bought a 3 headed, green tipped frogspawn for $25 (though technically, two of the heads were still merged).

That is a good deal for a LFS. Especially considering theyre running a business. Ive seen 2 headed frogspawns go for $30 which seemed like the norm. But we have a very generous club and on average I see about $5 a head, in fact I just sold a 3 headed branch off mine last week for that

You should come to the UK ! Hammers and Frogspawn both get sold for up to £45 about $60/70 dollars your money .
