Iphone auto correct. Should say wetside, sorry


Been having a bit of issues with my mp10 lately. It was pushing the wetside away from the glass. It's only about a year and a half old, didn't think the wetside would already need replacing this quick. Took it apart and it looks to be rusting and breaking apart? Is this normal wear? Thanks

More importantly what's the shaft look like, is the ceramic broken? Do you run gfo? Looks like some tiny parts may have gotten in. I would clea n it with scrub pad and clean the base housing bad well, how's he ceramic square also? If it all looks okay, clean it all and reassemble and it should be fine

Thanks Kws; the ceramic housing and rod are perfect. No I don't run any GFO. So that is starting to come up in the picture is actually removable? Guess it wouldn't hurt at this point but would I just pry the rest off, clean the rust from the inside and reassemble?
