Is this what you would pick?

Yes, I just added a dozen babies, they all dove right into the malu. I thought for sure they would pick the gig.

Lol, I thought that was ur tank. Very nice. I've kinda turned my tank into a NEM and Clownfish tank.

If I were a clown...haha...I would have picked the Blue Gig. :-)

Thanks! That's what my tanks have turned into also over the years. They don't have access to a blue gig, only one green gig in this tank. They have about 4 square feet of nem to choose from.

Well, it didn't take long to go where I thought they would go, couple hours. I thought they would go gig first right out of the net. Eventually I would expect them all to migrate to the mertens, but who knows.

Keeing a lot of babies in DT with lots of anemone, IME, they will spread out after they start get comfortable and feel that they don't need the protection of the anemone all the time.

woowww that's a beauty !!!

Taylor did you produce those babies? Or did you buy them?

No, My friend Unicospollos produced them. I traded my chocolate glazed trio for a dozen babies, about an inch big. The large female of the trio was eating holes in my mertens, and I could see it was stressing, so I pulled them. They were spawning like clockwork, but too rough on the mertens, so they had to go.

I'm going to have to find a breeder once I sell all of my live stock, amazing nems Taylor.

Thanks! I'm expecting to have problems with keeping them all together long term, but we'll see how long before some, or most, get pulled.... I'll keep an eye out. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to keep them together, as I don't remember anyone else trying to keep a group with a mertens. My gut says with such a large anemone, I may be able to keep them all together, time will tell.

If you do try it too, make sure to have a plan "B" for when (not if) it gets ugly. :)
