I got a voice message from the city of Roseville regarding their switch to ground water starting January 27th due to the impending drought. I had my RODI replacement scheduled in mid February and was unaware of the change in water source. To make the long story short, I had experienced a bit of an increase in green algae and had 2 corals stn. I had since replaced all of my rodi membranes and resin and everything are back on top. I now use a refillable cartridge with catalytic carbon, 2 carbon blocks and a 5micron sediment filter. My sediment filter appears exhausted already and it is only the beginning of March.
Just wondering if anybody else has noticed the decline in water quality in our area. Is it affecting your tank? I so not trust ground water.....
