Issue w/ 6100 & Hinge - stream changes angle

Tis is my first set of streams - i'm wondering if this is a common issue, or if its just me.

I purchased a set of 6100's w/ the 2 x 6200.50 magnet holders.

One of the 6100's keeps changing its angle to the right. If i set it to aim forward, over the course of 15-20 minues it will change the angle to point to the right.


Is this a common issue? i was speaking to a friend locally who has a 6100 & a 6080 - he said one of his does the same.

Is the hinge worn out? is there a fix?


Last night i put one of the long nylon bolts & nuts that came with the tunze stuff though the hinge ... its right for now - but will be a PITA if i chose to change the angle.

Marco, do you collect Apple computers? Just wondering by your user name if you have a Lisa? I am a big fan of Apple myself. I used to own a IIgs and really would like to get one again. I know the secretary at Tunze who recently retired had a Lisa. I see them quite often on German ebay modified to run older mac os.

Yes, i recieved your PM - Thank You.
The teeth are locked in place when i put the pump in - however from the START/STOP of the pump - the pumps hinge counterpart moves up just enough to clear the teeth & not hold anymore.

Like i posted above - i used one of the black nylon bolds (long skinny one w/ thumbscrew) - nut into the bottom hinge. Problem is i have to stick something into the bottom side to hold the nut when twisting the thumbscrew. - maybe there is room for improvement here.
