Roger,
I just cleaned out my Reefpack on Weds. night (I usually do this once a month, I think it went two months this time due to the holidays). While I was taking apart the pumps I noticed that both of the impeller shafts had rust on them. Have you heard of this or seen this before? Since I was hesitant to place them back in with the oxidation on them I used automotive wet/ dry sandpaper 2500grit to remove it. Do I need to replace these soon? Any advice would be great. Thank you for your assistance!
